I would think the electrical radiation there would be significant. You could probably fit an induction loop in the loft and never pay for energy ever again
3kW FIT Solar
0.8kW balcony solar.
2,372 W of turbine at Whitelaw Brae
6kw Panasonic air to air heat pump for downstairs.
2 WBS. Stovax 8kw and 5kw Morso squirrel
Rointe D series in 2 bedrooms and bathroom.
Aiming to go fully electric....

The Upside.

The house is protected from a direct hit lightning strike. With a direct hit on the pylon first.

The Downside.
If there is carbon build up across the insulators. They crack and the cables drop.

400Kv live cables falling on the induction loop could cause a problem. :O:

£10,000 has been offered to live close to the pylon.

The definition of close is still undecided. :head-bang:

I suspect 'close' involves a tree house like design and a rope ladder. But how many pylons are there in Britain, I'm thinking one pyramid like 'townhouse' per pylon, would help with the property shortage ........................ ;)
8.7kWp PV [2.12kWp SSW + 4.61kWp ESE PV + 2.0kWp WNW PV]
Two BEV's.
Two small A2A heatpumps.
20kWh Battery storage.
