Any news worthy story. Good things to watch at the Cinema, Theatre, on TV or have you read a good book lately?

This will be interesting to watch both from the NIMBY perspective, but also from the developers adherence and willingness to improve the area and soften the impact of the wind turbines on the local environment. If its done well this removes and or mutes opposition for similar developments elsewhere.

From the ecology PoV it will be a test case for retaining the general environment and where they speak of tree planting making sure that this isn't done as a window dressing exercise - TBH I don't know how I feel about that part of their proposal, in theory if done well it will actually improve what is other wise a very poor habitat and increase diversity, done badly I guess it would at worst form the basis of a new peat layer being laid down.
