Looks like folk are starting to think wider than just putting panels on the ground and more synergistically.

Re: Agrivoltaics gaining momentum
Recycled news topic. Apparently France built an overhead installation a few years ago. Good to see it, all the same.
Re: Agrivoltaics gaining momentum
yes I think this sort of article needs to come out in the popular press more frequently to get people thinking and talking, it seems to float to the surface on slow news days in one guise or another, I have seen a few lately so they do seem to be getting more popular. The thing for me is they are now appearing to consider the PV more as a enabler for higher value crop beneath the PV's protection be that from wind, rain , sun light etc so rather than devaluing good agricultural land the addition of PV in the right way can add value way beyond the power that they harvest.

Re: Agrivoltaics gaining momentum
I wonder how they got on with the cable mounts in windy weather? Other than that it looked to be a great system.

That's a lot of land and around Cottam I believe its very good arable agricultural land so I wonder what the mounting system will be and if its going to be suitable to dual use for farming and energy ?
