Any news worthy story. Good things to watch at the Cinema, Theatre, on TV or have you read a good book lately?

Very interesting - wonder what the panels actually are - got to be pretty thin/light/flexible if they're to go onto that existing roof - any technical details available?

Great to see such a venue generating sufficient clean energy to satisfy it's annual demand.
Surely, where practical, it's something every property/premises should strive for. If adopted nationally there wouldn't be quite the strain on the grid imagined as we all migrate over to leccy only.

Totally guessing here, but efficiency sounds reasonable. I'm assuming for 850,000kWh pa at a flattish pitch, they will need 1,000kWp+ of PV.

Looking at current mono-Si panels, that would be around 4,500m2. So if they are covering 6,500m2, allowing for losses, spaces etc etc, then whatever they are using would seem to be not too far off the mono-Si option. So pretty good?

Hopefully an option for other stadiums, buildings, warehouses etc etc, that can't cope with 'normal' panels without upgrading. And a good match for AC needs in the hotter months, if needed.
8.7kWp PV [2.12kWp SSW + 4.61kWp ESE PV + 2.0kWp WNW PV]
Two BEV's.
Two small A2A heatpumps.
20kWh Battery storage.
