Rewiring Britain

Any news worthy story. Good things to watch at the Cinema, Theatre, on TV or have you read a good book lately?

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c2d3zlkl4kro Battle lines drawn over 'monstrous' pylons and solar farm 'wastelands' might just be a teaser or using the same coverage twice, but https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m ... o-go-green is an interesting follow-up to the HP programme...
2.0 kW/4.62 MWh pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWh batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,
Most travel by bike, walking or bus/train. Veg, fruit - and Bees!

Not going to please everyone on this subject.

I’m staying out of it, but appreciate the upgrades to any infrastructure

I remember reading that future “backbone” links are all going to have to be undersea. Basically nothing can be built across land these days…
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
6x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (14.4kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)
