Hi.
This is the first Renewable energy and Sustainability Forum in the UK i have been on for along time.
Not sure if this section is for Books relating to Sustainability and renewable energy.?????????
After 20 years of other forums around the World I thought i might let you know of our ISBN numbered Book Publications and advice sheets.
Now all our books are very much hands on, and from our own EMPERCIAL Evidence, but our aim is to guide other folk who want to know more.
These are not Academic papers, or aimed at being so, and they are stuffed full of Photos and diagrams of the differing processes involved in each of our subject matters. You must remember that English may not be the first language of most folk around this Planet, so a picture sometimes tells a thousand words.
The only problem is that i never seem to have enough time to gather all our info together.
This weekend has shown me that it looks like another small publication is required for the step of a normal domestic property from a few PV panels and some small batteries to a fully self operating House/dwelling electrical supply.
A family i know here have been struggling now that winter is here and they only have PV, but there installation is small with equipment bought here in France and advice from French Forums and have been struggling with their generator. I spent most of the Weekend with them as there crap Chinese main inverter had been hit by a thunderstorm and its electronic settings and display mechanism was fried. (The main transformer and power boards are okay, but I am not getting that involved, just looked if there was anything simple that i could do a repair, I will explain later about Inverters).
Anyway, bless them they kept me well fed and watered with romantic candle light and torch's, as i went through things with them.
So the Bottom line, what the so called Renewable energy industry puts out for sale is mostly toys, so making that step to true independence takes a fair bit of working out. However cost can be very small if done properly with planning and good contacts and good advice.
And before you ask, Yes a heck of alot of Retailers and big companies don't particular like me, with some actual threatening legal action if i talk about their crap products. No don't worry Mods not talking here on this new Forum.
Enough of me waffling on, back to books.
Below is a hand out sheet about our latest big book, and as you can see it has a fair few chapters, but remember, all and i mean ALL, have our EMPERCIAL Evidence backing the chapters up. Most will be only 20 or 30 pages, but still with masses off Pics etc, as some of these subjects have there very own publications.

Personally I simply linked in a book recommendation for john Cantor's ASHP in the "spaceheating section"
We don't as yet have an area for books, sites, bookmarks we recommend as interesting reading.
You meant "Empirical" but keyboard slipped twice I guess Clockman (one of my favourite explanatory words too)
