Fiddling while Rome burns?

Any news worthy story. Good things to watch at the Cinema, Theatre, on TV or have you read a good book lately?

The world’s largest coal port has announced it will now be powered entirely by renewable energy.

The announcement from Port of Newcastle comes as coal power generation in Australia’s national electricity market fell to its lowest level in the final three months of 2021.

Though the port continues to export an average of 165Mt of coal a year, the move is part of a plan to decarbonise the business by 2040, and to increase the non-coal portion of its business so that coal only makes up half its revenue by 2030. etc
I guess that even though the Australian government might not be looking ahead, but their businesses are!

I read recently that the barges that transport millions of tonnes of coal down a river in China are electrically propelled...
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)
