If something like that happens here I think I will go back to two systems, an official 4kw on grid with a small battery inverter.
Then have an 8kw off grid system with large battery inverter running everything but sharing the same battery so effectively having a dc interconnector.

Just can't believe the number of people who fell for the -have a smart meter and save money advertising ........
Refuse every time they offer one .
I'm quite capable of monitoring my usage .........
But just had a thought .... maybe i could supply my neighbour at peak times if hes on a smart meter
