With some designs it is becoming noticeable that overheat protection in a uk summer (not the harshest out there) is activating & therefore draining whilst sitting unused, shading of vehicles (ie OFF STREET or under tree planted shaded avenues with an extra width for parking not to hinder traffic) is much needed but not noted yet.

For example sitting this morning (windows vented) @10.08 am the inner temperature of the model 3 is 44c ..later in the day there will be noise under the frunk as it attempts to cool itself (partially obscured by low fence) when you consider how much energy loss is from sentry mode (which is scrutinised & counted) high heat protection is going to be another "our ICE doesn't do that" argument of the anti-ev mindset, & whilst not particularly valid an argument overall (perhaps it should cool that potential bomb of a venting fuel tank  ) does add up en masse to lots of scrutiniseable excess energy wasted not in the form of motion.

It's already happening very fast - when you've got a good electric version it eats the petrol equivalent for breakfast.
