Any news worthy story. Good things to watch at the Cinema, Theatre, on TV or have you read a good book lately?

The latter,[LightCycle-S1] meanwhile, is a massive battery in the shape of a wheel that stores 3,500Wh of electricity and offers 3,500W of power. It can be lugged around on foot or towed by a vehicle, generating electricity as it travels (with a 200km journey providing a full charge).
I'm surprised that they aren't also offering a wind turbine to put on top of the car!
A
2.0 kW/4.62 MWh pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWh batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,
Most travel by bike, walking or bus/train. Veg, fruit - and Bees!

Might be a good idea for those that park overnight in the most windy place they could find? Personally, I would just pick a parking spot sheltered from the worst of the wind.🙂

very prone to site theft unless there is a built in tracker & rotor lock I imagine.

None of jackery's panels are cheap, this will be extra pricey therefore.

Agreed, waiting out a bad storm in a camper van can be very bad indeed.

Done it in Croatia and who really wants to be sandblasted on the beach as the wind speed reaches production speed?

2 things:
I understood being blown over was a risk for motorhomes anyway, so they could make additional guy ropes a selling point! (My first post was actually an attempt at a joke about a turbine on a car roof on the journey - picking up on the towed generator.

2nd was a memory of hiring a car in Iceland... looking down the contract is said "Wind" but it had been struck out. I queried it and they said that cars got one side shot-blasted when high winds picked up loose gravel on the glacier out-wash plains. So when winds were forecast everyone had the insurance to re-spray the cars!

Very space 1999.

Do you think the marketing head still has a job.

Looks like a Scout master camp affair ..dying for a meme-athon!

The other tent is in his short trousers.

Can someone please add Bernie Sanders mitts pic to start the ball rolling 😂
