Not sure the figures include for the renationalisation process costs or not but I would like to see the details as it can't be any worse than the current orchestrated dogs breakfast we endure now. Funny how renationalisation comes out of the cupboard again once a previously "fat" nationalised industry of old has be scraped down to the bone by private entrepreneurs and is no longer viable as a private concern.

cyclical stupidity ? Have a read and discuss.......

Bring it on I say. I don't know about the "savings" they quote but I have long argued for a big GOVT spending splurge on infrastructure to revive the economy, create good jobs, reduce or dependence on foreign imports, and generally improve the lot of many people stuck in dead end jobs.
This could be a good start, and if it prove popular as polling suggests could be the impetus to re-nationalise a lot more essential services.
We desperately need a balanced mixed economy with good regulation in place to make people feel secure and positive about their futures again.
