Far cheaper to buy a used bike and fit a Chinese conversion that way you can avoid the speed limitations, if you're off road of course. The conversion is fairly simple and quick.

Show us? Much appreciated 🙏
My back wheel is off the Dahon D5 and over to Icmeler yesterday to be fully respoked. Will get it back on our return late July. Could maybe fancy a wee Ebike kit?

If you do go for the crank mounted motor, it means that the motor operates through the gears and uses a lot less power for hill starts and general running. My body is letting me down but with the conversion I can clock up the miles with S.W.M.B.O. if fact if I wish I can leave her in cloud of dust.
P.S. If you do it's best to renew the chain at the same time as you put a bit of extra strain on an old chain.

Not impressed how they covered a load of cells (ie, inside the cargo trailer) ..needs some common sense applied, after all this was a news piece about them, & they couldn't be bothered, or do they really not understand the kit they are using?

Give them a break Mr Gus, after all their previous boss couldn't even fill in his job application correctly, struggled with the conflict of interest question! :D
