In the same piece:

The government announced separately that it will start offering carbon reduction workshops and “practical net zero advice” to thousands of businesses across the UK from Tuesday.

The workshops will be run by the net zero certification group Planet Mark, which has worked with companies and will travel across the country in an electric bus. The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy said it would help “raise awareness among the business community about the urgent need for firms to cut their carbon emissions”

workshops will only run until the end of the Cop26 climate conference in November, sparking criticism from climate campaigners at Greenpeace, who said it was further evidence that Boris Johnson’s commitment to climate action is “wafer thin”.

Another bus??? ...this will end well, just like Brexit *cough*

Funding will be considered for projects that cover heating and transport, data and digitalisation, and “whole system integration”, which refers to the entire journey of electricity from plant to plug.

Isn't that exactly what Ripple and Octopus are doing ?
Or maybe they wont qualify because they are already doing it.

PS - Maybe they should have used the word "socket" instead of "plug" as not to inflame tensions on here. :?

Curiously enough there appears to be bugger all re the Electric bus they are using, ..I mean why not, its green tech!? ..the lack of much other than generic shots on their blurb (for a group that states its been going since 2013) why are they not promoting that, the specs are nowhere in a search it seems, (other than charging incompatibilities on the 1st leg of the tour)

Likely that if you google search a picture you'll find more info from "bus world" (Busworld Kortrijk 2016)
https://www.busandcoachbuyer.com/buswor ... -2016-bus/

Seems they are selling green certification (all his dissolved companies were green investment, pr etc) ..I remain dubious for now
& from brief reading it likely appears he doesn't know much about EV's or else they'd have planned better.

& flogging "awards" via planet mark awards ceremony ..hmm, do greenpeace do this?
