Goodness me - according to this, Germany added 14GW of solar last year alone!

That puts the UK to shame. Germany now has a total of 170GW (end 2023) and the UK has a total of 16GW per Solar Sheffield.

Not quite, the large 170GW figure includes wind, the German Solar element is 81.7GW.
Still a big number.
