This design will store green energy in very hot rock over the long term before being used to generate electricity. The pilot plant should be generating by next March on a Danish island with too much wind power.

Excellent solution at 60% RTE and astonishing at 90% with the district heat tie in. Would have been nice to see tank dimensions and discharge capacity figures just for the joy of it. Nonetheless, great to see.

Agree with you there Joeboy, we shall need all the storage we can muster in the coming decades. Really enjoy Daves presentations, so much so that I struggled to choose which were the four topics I'd like to see broadcast in the near future.
What exciting times we are in.
Oh sorry, first post on here as a newby but keen follower on all things renewable and storage related. Didn't know Camelot existed until a colleague onn another forum pointed me to it.

Welcome aboard Adokforme. Camelot is new, after we all had a mid-life crisis but the membership is rising steadily.
