Maybe it just doesn't generate enough cash quick enough for the sharks in the world of finance.
Given that they have lots of land and reservoirs to float panels on (and that it is a success elsewhere) I can't believe that the company can't be sold on. It must have skilled staff (worth quite a bit now,) plus inside knowledge on how to work safely and the special rules in that industry.
