Wales launches state-owned renwables company

Any news worthy story. Good things to watch at the Cinema, Theatre, on TV or have you read a good book lately?

Seems like a brilliant idea to me, lets hope they have a head scratching session about pumped hydro opportunities too as we have the resources and topography for quite a bit of that renewable too. In fact I am going to email Mr Miles in his new role and ask him if they are considering PH as part of a joined up renewables plan?

Good idea - the PH doesn't have to be just in Scotland - as you say Wales has the topography for it too.
And the potential for tidal stuff near Anglesey.

(don't mention Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon!)

Hi Dan,

My view is these things don't have to be massive just numerous and we have numerous small to medium opportunities around us, old slate workings that are heritage that is crying out to be reworked in to contributing to the economy once again rather than laying forlorn and desolate, while still stunning.

I've completed the survey and left project idea feedback on the Trydan pages already, I will let you know if I get any feedback.
