I started skipping through it after a bit - there's some decent stuff mixed in with a lot of garbage, to the point it got painful to watch. Axial flux machines have got some nice advantages for automotive (hence Mercedes just buying YASA), but they really don't work well for aerospace.
That machine uses air-cored coils rather than iron-cored, so the power density is pretty low.
