Remember this from 1984 ?, I was doing my apprenticeship in the Nuclear industry at the time so I still have a slight fondness for the industry. I'm still bound by the Official Secrets Act for my time there.

And Chernobyl happened whilst I was in the industry too, it was quite a talking point at the time.

Less exposure to the rest of the worlds drivers on a train track, & limits where it will go in the remotest chance of hijacking for whatever purpose / cause highlighted, ...nice job for a tranche of armed police I expect!?

I hope its got a remote kill switch.

I wonder how robust it will turn out to be if it has any electronics (at all) in it?
If I had been given the brief I would have designed it using only pneumatic or hydraulic actuators, sensors and controls, with any software or even basic electric stuff behind very heavy shielding...
I suppose anything could handle "high level waste" a thimble-full at a time - if it was in the middle of a 40-gall drum surrounded by lead!
