I'm a no on this one. Used to sit the rov on bottom and cuttlefish would come in about to check out the cameras & lights. Could sit and flicker the lights at them and they'd strobe back at ye and have a sniff and feel of the sub.. Squid were dumb as hell although I have seen them chuck a dummy, ink and jet off on a tangent so maybe not so dumb.. Octopus would sit it their hole and gaze back at ye, properly tracking. Gorgeous creations. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-59667645

Shouldn’t Octopus be installing an electric eel farm?
It's an interesting crossover between philosophy and marine biology - that sounds like it's tough going but it's very accessible and fairly short. I found it a fascinating read as I'm a scuba diver and have long been fascinated by cephalopods.
