Yes, good news. I'm waiting for our own silicon chip factory now (why let them all be in China or USA?) and at least 1 to make pv panels.
Pity BBC reported it as for cars, with a mention of vans etc. Aren't they the same cells as go in home battery banks (and ships, for that matter?)
