Kris rebuilds his wind turbine

Any news worthy story. Good things to watch at the Cinema, Theatre, on TV or have you read a good book lately?

Kris rebuilds his wind turbine

Kris Harbour makes pretty well everything with his own hands. The wind turbine was badly damaged in a storm. The video shows not only remaking the blades but also making a new tower and foundation. It’s beautifully filmed.
The comment about dryness at the start refers to his micro hydro systems. He bought the plasma cutter to make parts for micro hydro in which he now has a small business.

Cheers Stan,

I enjoyed watching that, he seems a very capable lad and I like his workshop set up!

Just watched the 2nd video as heading out for a pint. Excellent, great to hear the blades and watch the strobing rpm. Great delivery style too.

I like the ladder mounted on the tractor front bucket.....what could possibly go wrong Paul.
The pole looks like it’s leaning but I believe that comes down to the camera rest.
Makes you realise that there are some serious loads acting on the blades.
