Maybe a beer brewing heat may for winter heat maintenance could be utilised? ..another reason I was asking originally what size containers were in use.
25 litres, standard brew bucket.

Nice one Billi, get your bacon ready as they will visibly grow by the day now .
Also consider taking a handful of mycelium and adding it to some sterile grains in a jar to begin the next culture.

Yeah Moxi , good bacon here , with some free-ranged eggs and some Lamb's lettuce , cant wait
Sure have to learn more to make that an permanent idea (without buying in too much stuff)
The bought in , mycelium filled injector needle in mainly brewed coffee powder did not work .... mold was faster

Re: Mycelium does anyone spawn their own?
Billi try plain cardboard with some of the compressed saw dust cat litter pellets for a source of nitrate and in summer after harvest get hold of chopped straw as they are all good growth media, for spawning though I do prefer to use pulses or grains. Some people use corn but hemp flax or humble pearl barley all work and my favourite is rye.
Coffee grounds always seem best if they’re scolded with boiling water left to cool for twenty minutes then worked in to fruiting substrate - I’ve never managed to spawn directly on it because as you say it’s too rich and attracts fungal species that outgrow the slower mycelium.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s photo of mini mushrooms about twice the size of todays.

I'm wavering on the point of submission.

One of the ready to go Pots are doing fine Pleurotus pulmonarius
The other is struggling Pleurotus citrinopileatus
I read on the sellers website ,that the both need certain room temperature to fruit
Not easy in an old farmhouse in Bavaria with a woodstove only,k that cools down from say 23 in the eve to 13 degrees in the morning ( and while at work , no stove burning ) and as you know t5hat i do not like to overdo automated el. heaters , but just for that event , i have one heater on , on a timer
