I bought a set of growing LED lights a few years back but never got round to using them. :mrgreen:

Another 2 weeks on, 3 weeks since buying from supermarket.

This has still been kept in the high humidity lunch box out of the way on top of a kitchen cupboard.

That's a fair difference in the largest shoot in 2 weeks.

presumably it will need to go into some damp compost to supply moisture and nutrients before too long now?

Unfortunately my pot planted ginger plants did not live long :evil: , so it was back to the drawing board and this time I have left them in a watery tub to grow more substantial roots first. I also added a lot more water to the tub.

I am hoping for better this time. :)

Note - This is still the same piece of ginger that went in the watery tub at the end of October 2022. :shock:
