I'm using my solar batteries to run it too

I did try it with a lashed together set up many years ago after visiting the Hydroponicum up past Ullapool and have been looking at a Hydroponics page on Facebook recently.
I do fancy giving it a go again.
Have you got any pictures of your system?

get some from the greenhouse jungle tomorrow - just using for tomatoes, chillis and cucumbers this year , last year I grew some peppers as well and put 2 carrier bags worth in the freezer.
couldn't give the bloody things away quick enough

I've got 3 systems on the go - get some pics up for you tomorrow.
its not too bad on the energy either - all my systems use about 1.2kw for the day . that's easy to get back from the panels in the summer

Deep Water Culture - 10 pot system - watered for 2mins every 30 mins using smart plug for pump
Cucumbers everywhere - bloody things!!
Some Tomato shots - end of season now
This is my NFT system - just cherry tomatoes this year, produced loads of sweet peppers last year
NFT uses tiny pump which runs constantly
Flood and Drain System - chillis + cherry toms
F+D runs from smart plug - pump fills the black tank once every 30 minutes and the drains back into blue barrel
Cheap pump off eBay in 30l tank for 10 pot DWC system
My experiment dwarf cavendish banana in the hall

There’s 3 tomato plants there - 3 cucumbers and about 6 cherry tomatoes in the DWC - there is also 3 watermelons in there too, but no success there although the plants themselves are huge - didn’t know if I needed to pollinate flowers myself

That's an impressive productive setup you have there, I must try it again.
