OK, this is daft speculation, but does adding (loose) tea leaves and coffee grounds to the compost bins encourage the “tiger” worms to work harder?
I have tried looking up the question but obviously can’t find the correct wording! No luck. Theses beverages give me a boost
so why not other creatures?

Because you have already extracted and drunk most of the caffeine?
40 years ago I used to take a snap-top bucket into work (12-floor office block) and the tea ladies used to dump all the used leaves in it for me. I took it home 3/4 full every evening for the compost heap and it really boosted it. Big tiger worms were very noticeable in the heaps back then, not so much now!
We don't drink tea, but when guests come we make it for them in a pot, afterwards dilute it with cold water and squeeze the bags out and use it for house plants.

We put (lots
) of loose tea leaves and coffee grounds in with the compost. We have loads of active worms. Whether this is down to the caffeine or a good supply of mixed ‘food’.
If nothing else, it gives satisfaction to recycle. Composting must be the simplest and satisfying way to recycle.

Same here BTB. Just layer it up every year and dont walk on it. Rhubarb and garlic are off to the races. Mostly doing tatties this year as going to be absent a lot.
