Ali G would be happy, (this is a project within the Staines area (subject to that awful, money milking film)

Apparently this is the second of its kind in the UK, would be interesting to see how staff & visitors adapt to passivhaus design on this scale.
The last one being in Exeter a decent read it you have time.

Interesting.
I will watch this build, and see how many rules they alter and modify.
There seems to be 2 sets of rules appearing at the present time.
One is the real truth.
Two is the comerciall boys changing things to suit their products.
I, we have just started on our last of 6 passive house standards builds here at 'Le Vivray'.
At present me and my UNI Archetect boy are securing the original 1760's 2 storey building structure. And modifying our drawings/designs as we get over the hurdles.
This will be yet another building within a building so the original fragile oak frame structure will not get any extra loadings.

All:
Please note, the sum cited is the latest cost, job budget forced to jump by around 1/3 due to recent world problems with procurement.
