Moving on with major plumbing changes .....
Time to start installing a thermal store i purchased over a year ago on an auction site.......
Does anyone recognise the make/model.
Seem to remember its 210 litre and maybe a Telford ?? No markings........
Need to blow down each pipe and identify the ports..........
Have large boiler stove (not yet installed), Heat pump (installed to summer blow up pool only) , Solic immersion diverter (heats water in current indirect cylider) and Gas boiler (on last legs condemmed -may connect for short term .Will not replace if fails).
Plan is DHW and wet radiators with boiler stove , topped up by excess PV and Heatpump.

Looking forward to seeing this project. Sorry for a daft question. Are you adding this to an existing tank system or replacing? Cheers!

Replacing .........
It's a long story. Room contained only toilet (upstairs) and existing DHW is vented indirect in bathroom ! 1930's house.
Have toilet downstairs (big void understairs now converted) so water tank is moving into x toilet upstairs.
Then we can fit a toilet in the bathroom.
Only a case of installing 2 x 28mm from new woodburner/heat leak rads/moving bath and sink/new toilet/connecting heat pump/connecting gas /connecting Solic divert ........what could possibly go wrong ?
George.

I enjoy plumbing, reads like a bit more than a mornings work. SWMBO has an eye on me ripping out downstairs bathroom and bath, replacing with walk in shower stall. Camelot plumbers support group maybe? :D
