Plug in energy timer

#1

Post by Beau »

Afternoon all

As of 1200 today we are on a flexible tariff.

We are starting with Agile and going to just going to play it by ear. I would like to run our dehumidifier more than we have been doing and want a plug-in timer to avoid it running during peak times. Any recommends?

Thanks

You could consider those wifi-enabled "smart plugs" that you can get in many places - all controlled by an App on your phone - plug the device you want to control into a smart plug and then set the schedule on the App? I think some even work with Alexa/Siri/Google voice control

I will look into them. Thanks, Dan

Edit. Had a quick look but realised we are very unlikely to have router signal out where the dehumidifier is.
