Stumbled across these today, no idea of efficiency f marketing hyperbole, can anyone with direct knowledge offer the lowdown / an appraisal?

There's nothing really that is apparent that gives a temp difference between the types & regular blinds by contrast, ..annoying & close to the bone in terms of duplicity potential.

Re: Ikea cell wall blinds
They look very similar to the Luxaflex blinds we have. We've had the Luxaflex ones up for a few years now and they work very well and are well made. Ikea stuff generally seems to be pretty good, but how they've managed to reduce the price by that much I don't know. We have seven sets of cellular blinds, including two triangular ones for a big gable window, and the total came to somewhere around £5k IIRC, although the two odd shaped ones are electric, as they are too high to operate manually.
They definitely improve the insulation over just curtains or plain blinds, but as we have triple glazing everywhere the difference isn't that marked. They do help keep the heat of the sun out, though.

Thanks for chipping in OGB.
I'll see if they will fit the bedroom & bathroom to start with, both overheat massively, so to have a degree of control in this area at this price, may be worth a punt to use as blackouts.
