Edinburgh flat

#1

Post by Joeboy »

Highly excited, just bought a flat in Edinburgh for the family to enjoy together tween now & deid. Stockbridge, EH3 (oh yes indeedy). Had one snatched away yesterday after accepting our offer( utter traitor fixed price oh really lying f***ing bastards) but it was only EH7 so as Granny used to say... 'whits fur ye, willnae go by ye'. Addendum to Granny's wisdom, 'Also Son they can shove EH7 right up their collective arses'. :)

Happy Valentines day, what a cracker!

At some point I'm going to waken up and this was all a dream.

I'll post photos later. :D 8-)

Accounts are looking a bit thin. My whole life has been run on 'Step up or,.... fuck off'. Admittedly, today was trippy and slightly beyond the norm!

That's me sitting quietly in the corner sipping a coffee enjoying the vibe in a Stockbridge cafe 1 month from now.

Although in reality I'm finishing a pint of punk ipa at Edinburgh Airport right now waiting for a flight to Luton then onwards to Turkey for No 1's eye surgery. As I said, some day. :D πŸ‘

When I was about 8 years old my father had an offer accepted on an incredible detached house on a superb country road overlooking the Ribble Valley at a very good price. He mouthed off about it down the pub about how good a deal it was. My fathers nemesis overheard him and investigated, soon after gazumping him. My mother has never forgiven him for that.

You can only spend it once (allegedly) Joe. Enjoy it with you and yours.

Had some great times there - fantastic place for a weekend bolt hole sort of place. Look forward to the pics once the deal is done.

There was an element of that in no1 prop, by this I mean we were used as leverage. Fixed price property, offered, accepted by 09.30 verbally, cash, then told at 15.00hrs it has went to someone else. I'm still in throat cutting mode but fuck it eh. Karma will πŸ†. The game is now EH3, always be flexible. For those that don't know. EH1 is the castle area. EH3 is the New Town, tres bonne, tres bonne.
