As per title, folding, smoothing & sealing a bare PIR boards cut edges, it's another time consuming aspect of the product, yet we all know it helps reduce dust, increases vermin proofing, bolsters edge resistance etc..

Is there such a palm tool, or will I have to try & bodgineer one?

Applying tape to the "insulation scrap heap" to fit a few (more) pieces & whilst the cheese blade wavy saw is a godsend of practical time saving this is the other element that needs help (or at least I do)

I'm not sure if I've dreamt a palm tool in the past or seen one that could fit the job / be adapted?

NB not just me, but the satisfaction of eying a rescued scrap pile of "schmutter" & finding the pieces that are "just right for the job" with minimal adjustment required, this is why men need sheds.

There has been a distinct lack of PIR foam foil boards in skips this past couple of years.

There is something called a "Banjo" taping tool that does as you suggest. I've only ever seen them on American DIY shows where the tiniest job involves massive air-nailers...

Somehow I cannot see you having just made a joke there Stinsy so much as fact based on the BIG TOOL-manship of our Yankee brethren.

Will check it out (likely on an infomercial ...made with love)

Now I can't get rid of an earworm of Duelling Banjo's

Ok... back having checked, can only find ones for plasterboard, they're aloo-minum in construction but that's the closest I can find.
