End of the month, so I was doing my rounds taking all the various meter readings. I was checking my water meter (under the floor) fed from my water harvesting system which sucks water from an underground river into a 500 litre tank. It then is pumped via a pressure pump for flushing the toilets and watering the garden.

Reading was 355,550 litres saved off my water bill in a little under 8 years.

But as luck would have it, SWMBO was on the loo, so just had to wait until I heard the pressure pump kick in and have my camera ready.



The water bill savings have just about paid back for the original expense of fitting the tank, pumps and plumbing.
