That's a good way to stop people standing on them!

Yeah, iirc nowty’s panels were similarly packaged so maybe it’s the new norm ?

Got to get them squared away this afternoon as we are off to the theatre tonight so my time isn’t my own today.

Then as time presents itself I’ll need to start framing the structure and cutting strut to size.

Its to get them onto a smaller pallet for cheaper delivery.

I suspect you're relieved the delivery was not next Monday.

hmmm you would think so but just discovered that they wont fit through the shed door so they are stacked outside at the minute and this week I will have to sort the shed out to get them inside in landscape till after the blow has passed.

That said its only 47mph at present - scope for that to change I accept but for the present I'm more concerned for folk further North and our colleagues in Scotland where it looks significantly more unfriendly.

Well the two gabion anchored ground mounts came through another storm with flying colours. First chance I get I will drop some small ballast across the top of each gabion to allow the fines to fill up any fissures that have opened up in the ballast stones due to wind loading on the unistrut verticals.

The bin store had anchors at the half fill point but early indications are that a full depth anchors fairs better in resisting lateral movement as per the ground mount to the cottage gable end.

My sniper dinghy almost ended up in next doors field and is wedged on its side against the wall in the garden having been lifted from the flat inverted position by an overly strong gust at some point.

Not damaged it and not been able to spot any damage anywhere so we have been fortunate here.
