Not used blackjack used this

As a surface treatment, easily applied with a 2litre spray bottle….
I’ve poured it over stone walls, in cracks to help prevent water ingress and it didn’t stain

I was going to paint up to the dpc black anyways, get away it or have to paint over it?

Can you paint over black jack?
Not sure which version of Blackjack you are using, but if it is brown coloured it will dry out to black. Do not paint it with an oil based paint (or bitumen) as the finished layer can be oil soluble and will be damaged. If you paint it with a water based paint the Blackjack is likely to bleed through,

Just a quick update for anyone that was interested and if it helps anyone in the future....

Ended up using the sika SBR and cement slurry mix on the outside up the dpc...

Also used it on the inside up the dpc (unsure if it was a good idea... but it's on!)

Then used the black jack on the inside over that up to the dpc. Not putting it on the outside, as don't won't it to affect me painting up to the dpc (apparently can't paint over it).

It's been a good few weeks since I did it. There has been lots of rain, snow, etc and nothing has come through, so seems ok for now. Blocks/paviors are still up so haven't got round to putting the visqueen there yet before laying back down.

Will update pics eventually.

Thanks for all suggestions... The botch seems ok for now :xx:

Inside (sbr cement slurry):

Took a while to dry out completely before I applied the black jack.

After black.jack (didn't seem to take pictures before framing oops):

Didn't screw the timber below the dpc.
