We have had driers like that but not that impressed with them as the locking catches wear out. If it's new order some spares while they are available. Sadly they aren't for ours.
Ps cover the concrete over to protect if from frosts.

What mix did you go for?
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger
(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Cement, sharp sand, PVA and a handful of reinforcements fibres. I would normally have used ballast but I just used what I had to hand which was the sharp sand.
Mix was probably about 3 to 1, needed it strong as the cement was old, I did not measure it, just did it by sight as you get a feel as to whether its right when your mixing it. Mixed in a bucket with a paddle mixer driven by a cordless drill, I go for a cake mixture consistency.

The price difference is astronomical unless I found some free ones.Oliver90owner wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 8:44 pm

Re: New Rotary Dryer Install
I shall pick up a few more discarded ones when I next go to Drumnadrochit. S'pose it will cost a bit to bring them home, but not a lot of energy….
Re: New Rotary Dryer Install
I drilled a sloped drain hole into the block. connecting to the bottom of the plastic socket so it will drain water.
It was very difficult to drill into so I reckon the block is now hard enough, dryer is now fully operational.
