My Pylontechs for Sale

#1

Post by nowty »

Having bought a load of LFP cells building up DIY battery banks I'm going to put my pylontech batteries up for sale on ebay in a few days time.

I thought I'd offer them here first.

Image

I have 2 x US2000C's which were Spanish imports badged as Turbo Energy by Pylontech. I've used battery view and debug software to give some info on their current state. I've use them for under 3 years old, both have SOH of 96% and have clocked 434 and 443 full cycles respectively. I am after £350 per unit.

I also have 7 x US2000B (Plus version) which I've used for 7 years but have only clocked between 655 and 684 full cycles each. I am after £250 per unit.

No issues with any of them, all cells with minimal voltage variance, I have battery view screenshots for all of them.

The disparity in cycle use verses age is because of me cycling them much more over the past year on Octopus Outgoing.

I also have 9 x stacking brackets for all the units, quite happy to throw them in with a unit or £10 per pair without.

I have the Servtec cable and software, looking for £20 for that.

Free collection from Southampton area or £20 postage per unit. If anyone wants multiple units I could also deliver up to 100 miles away and I'm visiting my mum in Preston soon so I could drop off anywhere within 100 miles on that journey so that would include quite a lot of the country.

Or £2k for the lot, should still be 20kWh+ of storage there.

EDIT - To change the number of available pairs of stacking brackets from 7 to 9.

Those batteries will be an excellent deal for someone. Have you bought the cells to replace them?

How easy would it be to drop this into our 3-phase SolarEdge system here in my workplace?

Also got a friend who might be interested. How quickly are you looking to offload it all?

Dunno about the 3 phase.

As in the picture they are all decommissioned and cluttering up the lounge to SWMBO delight. ;)

I've been doing some battery view screenshots, after a full charge, I'll post them later. Note, I am not including the inverter shown in the picture below, thats there to charge them up.

The batteries care not about single vs 3 phase. That’s a problem for the inverter.
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
6x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (14.4kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

In case it helps anyone's decision on these, I have 2x Sofar ME3000SP from 2020 going spare, complete with cables and mounting brackets.

£200 each collect from South Manchester or £210 delivered via DPD.

I would not recommend them for normal day-time charge/discharge but would be perfect for forced charging overnight etc.
