Appears unnegoitable despite not exceeding the 7000 limit. I cannot provide consumption evidence as the bill is currently not in my name but there is no movement.
I have asked my holding to be reduced to a level at which proof of consumption is not required and refund me accordingly.
So beware !!!!!

Your sig + the amount you have publicly said you bought on WB make you very close the the limit at around 6997kWh. I have said before about careful getting too close as there are some minor inaccuracies caused by rounding errors.

For my own sanity, do you mind looking on your customer agreements (they will be on your dashboard under documents) and let me know exactly how many watts you have actually bought in each project as they will be shown in watts down to 3 decimal places. It will only take a fraction of a watt extra in the three projects to take you to just above annual forecasted generation of 7000kWh.

PM me if you like.

I have bought to the "limit" of 7000 kwh which only applies to single purchases ???
For those interested my online chat is below .............
(13:21:03) *** George joined the chat ***
(13:21:03) George: I have purchased 100% of my energy needs (7000kwh) -why are you asking for evidence of consumption ? I have not exceeded the 7000 maximum limit. Rgds George
(13:22:38) Jane: Hello George, let me check your account. Is this a second purchase? If so, this is why - we ask for consumption evidence from every customer who buys a second, third or fourth lot of shares, regardless of how many kWh are bought, as a blanket rule.
(13:24:02) Jane: Ok, looking at your account, this seems to be your third purchase of shares. This will be why. It's normal for the account to require some confirmation of consumption in this situation.
(13:27:58) George: But your share offer states up to 7000kwh and i have purchased no more than this.
(13:28:27) George: what if i had purchased 6999 ?
(13:30:20) Jane: Apologies, but this is our standard policy. It applies to all members. I am not familiar with any point in the share offer where it states we will never ask for consumption evidence below a purchase of 7000kWh?
(13:30:58) Jane: I will check the share offer document and consult with my colleagues on having this amended, if so.
(13:32:27) George: It says consumption above 7000kwh will require evidence.
(13:33:17) Jane: Yes. Consumption above 7000kWh requires evidence. This is correct, it does. Second and third purchases of shares are also things that require evidence.
(13:34:18) George: OK , I will not be providing evidence as not long in property ,electricity not yet in my name etc etc.
(13:35:05) Jane: If you are unable to provide evidence of your consumption that is in excess of 7,000kWh, you will be prevented from buying more shares in future Ripple co-ops. In exceptional circumstances, you may also be required to reduce your ownership level to below the 7,000kWh threshold as stated in the Customer Agreement.
(13:35:11) George: If you cannot waive the evidence please proceed in refunding my 3rd install payment and deposit.. Thank you for your help. George
(13:35:47) George: My consumption is not in EXCESS of 7000.
(13:41:49) Jane: George, if your name is not yet on the electricity bill, this is not a problem - you can contact your supplier and have your name added and then submit as soon as you have a bill like this. In any event, it is not really necessary that your name be on the bill for this purpose, so much as just that the figure of consumption is accurate.
(13:44:39) George: I will not be providing evidence and feel mislead having paid for priority application and invested in previous offers because its the "right" thing to do. Please amend my holding down to the level at which you require no evidence of consumption and refund accordingly. Many thanks.
(13:48:50) Jane: That's no problem, George. We can offer a full refund of your most recent purchase as long as it is within 14 days of the purchase. Leave it with us and we will be back in touch about this with a resolution. Thanks.
(13:49:06) George: Many thanks.

So you are probably a fraction over the 7000kWh limit once you go to extra decimal places which are not shown in your dashboard but are in your customer agreements.

Example, my dashboard for GF says I own 4.154 kW but my customer agreement says “Your Project Watts” means 4154.382

The classic line from the chat, after she consulted with her colleague was,

(13:35:05) Jane: If you are unable to provide evidence of your consumption that is in excess of 7,000kWh, you will be prevented from buying more shares in future Ripple co-ops. In exceptional circumstances, you may also be required to reduce your ownership level to below the 7,000kWh threshold as stated in the Customer Agreement.

You probably only need a refund of a few pence.

Another video update to the KH commissioning.
The good news is the DNO has completed its testing and three turbines are now operating, T2, T4 and T5 are now commissioned and running.
Ignore Jamie's gremlins comment about T4 and T5 as the video has been annotated to say they are now commissioned and operating.

I’m ut’ north at my mum’s and helped her buy into the Whitelaw Brae wind project.

She’s a very low leccy user so she managed to buy about 5 times her usage and yet stay comfortably under the 7000 kWh no evidence limit.

So although I could not buy any personally, we have combination of all ripple projects in the family, so I will still have an interest into watching the build progress. :xx:

And for KH, I note latest news from Ripple,

Turbines 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 now up and spinning
13/05/2024

We've had confirmation today from site that turbines 6 and 7 are now spinning. This means that just turbines 1 and 8 left to go.

Common sense prevails........ thank you Ripple.
