Is it getting windy out west ?
Currently GF generating at 98.7% and KH generating at 100%.
Part ownership of a Ripple Wind Turbine, fancy it?

Re: Part ownership of a Ripple Wind Turbine, fancy it?
Three days on and GF pumped out a CF of 95.6% yesterday taking CF for the Dec above 50% for now. Even so another good day ahead predicted.
KH doing great too with a CF for Dec so far at 53%, wind speeds tailing off so probably peaked at that for now.
Some good coming out of all the chaos Darragh caused.

KH is a full power again this morning, hoping a similar story for GF too, should be as up in North Wales its blowing a hoolie, the log store lid has had to be ballasted with slate blocks as the latch and hasp were ripped off in the night in the blustery 56mph gusts - on the plus side there seems to be a suggestion of some sunshine for us today to coddle the stack a bit more than usual

GF at 98% and KH at 100%+ (KH seems to often slightly exceed 100%), the suns even coming out here, a rare sight this winter.Moxi wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 9:34 am KH is a full power again this morning, hoping a similar story for GF too, should be as up in North Wales its blowing a hoolie, the log store lid has had to be ballasted with slate blocks as the latch and hasp were ripped off in the night in the blustery 56mph gusts - on the plus side there seems to be a suggestion of some sunshine for us today to coddle the stack a bit more than usual

I have seen that a couple of times and thought I was seeing things but now you have confirmed that thanks. Slow roasting a leg of lamb for the next two days worth of dinners and the improved light is helping ease the strain on the stack.
Wind has abated here for now, back again tomorrow I believe so I am going to pop out and refix the hasp on the wood store shortly.

From Ripple Energy email:
n our update on 10th October 2024 we confirmed that we were in active and positive discussions with a potential co-investor to enable the coop to remain part of the project. We stopped selling any additional or new shares in Ripple Co-op 4.
We wanted to update you on the project, as soon as we were able to.
Yesterday, Thrive Renewables announced it has completed the purchase of Whitelaw Brae Wind Farm from BayWa r.e. the developer of the project.
Next steps
Now that Thrive’s purchase has completed, we plan to work with them to facilitate shared ownership of the project via Ripple’s model.
Whilst this is a very significant step, there is still work to do. We are unable to share further details at this time. Please be reassured that it is in all parties’ interests to complete the next steps as swiftly as possible.
Whilst we acknowledge this delay has been frustrating for many, we are extremely excited about what 2025 could bring. We will continue to work throughout the festive period on this and will update you as soon as we are able to.
Thank you for your continued patience.
Kind Regards,
Team Ripple
