Yes it’s not wind, it’s solar on schools and community buildings.

I’m in the first offering from North Lincolnshire Community Energy so won’t be going for this, but only as I like to spread it around. Had the first divi from them last year. As it’s in the east of the country capacity factors are not as bad you might think.

I’ve bought into a few community benefit Coops now, mainly for my perceived CO2 offset to our jetting or cruising around. I also stick them in SWMBO name to avoid the tax.

Bought into the Wiltshire Wildlife one a couple of months ago from Ethex, I think they will do a good job on the bio diversity side. I’ve noticed Grimsby Community Energy Coop have moved to Ethex from Energy4All in terms of their fundraising recently, I don’t know their reason why.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 30MWh generated
6 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 520 m3
