Some of the evidence I used during my S75. I used their own timeline to show they had failed to deliver.
The posts regarding resignation of senior individuals also solidify that things were not as depicted by Ripple.

0.8kW balcony solar.
6kw Panasonic air to air heat pump for downstairs.
2 WBS. Stovax 8kw and 5kw Morso squirrel

Are the chargebacks for Whitelaw Brae?
Or are investors also trying to get cash back on other ripple projects?

In my specific case, my Section 75 is for Whitelaw Brae due to non-delivery of said product being sold.

Thanks everyone for all the info posted on this sorry matter.
Having paid via debit card I didn't even know about Chargeback or any other means of redress, I'd just assumed the money had gone where ever and would have to wait the outcome of administration etc to discover if anything remained.
Ideally I would love for WB to go ahead in whatever form and be part of it too, so send Friends of WB every good wish for a satisfactory outcome. Thanks @Nowty for posting the link to it, which I've subsequently joined. I'm tempted by the Chargeback scheme but wouldn't wish to undermine the efforts of FoWB so torn as to what to do for the best. Already being members of GF and KH then It's not a huge sum invested and we shan't go hungry or cold as a result.
Good luck to everyoone which ever route you choose going forward.

For my chargeback I was about an hour on the phone explaing to the bank dept what had went wrong. The lady had to go check on a number of points during the process. Eventually a case was opened, I was given a case no for email ref and an email address to send details and paper proof which we've since done.

I stated non delivery of goods in the agreed timescale then went on to explain that no ground had been broken, company into administration and absolutely no contact on the subject since they took the money.

I didn't mention Thrive as we've never been asked or informed about Thrive. My deal was with Ripple for No1 son, selling it on without our acceptance breaks contract with me.

The lady said it would be about a fortnight and they'll get back to me if they need further evidence.

Best of luck to all.

Ben : Chair of DW Coop, has posted an update on FaceBok . . . . Fully quoted below . . . .
DW Update from Ben wrote: Hello,
We're aware a number of Derril Water members use this forum to discuss the project, so we wanted to take the opportunity to share an update on the progress of your project.
Apologies for the limited communications from the board of late to members of Derril Water coop. This is because our situation is different from the existing coops, so our approach is too whilst awaiting the outcome of Ripple's administration process.
What we now know is that no one has stepped forward to purchase the Ripple business as a going concern and that all employees have been made redundant. I'm not going to pass judgement or express an opinion on the organisation or reasons for their failure, our priority is to see the project through to delivery and then into business-as-usual operations.
What you do need to know is:
Ripple Energy is separate from the Derril Water cooperative that owns the solar farm - your investment therefore is safe.
Member funds have been deployed to build the site and we are now drawing down on the bank loan as planned
Progress is going well, we expect to energise from late spring, with commercial operations early summer
I took the opportunity to visit the site last weekend and met the team at Ethical Power, one of our construction partners. I was blown away by the scale of the site, but more importantly reassured by a sense that we're really close to finishing. Most of the heavy construction is complete, next step is wiring up the structures.
As your board we're busy facilitating this transition period, overseeing financial, legal, and project management processes to ensure progress doesn't stop. Without Ripple, we now need to set up our own communication channels and replace some services. Undoubtedly things will change from how Ripple did things, and we will share more as options become clearer. However, again, our priority right now is energising the site.
We have an email address you can use to contact the board: derril.water.chair@gmail.com. However, we respectfully request that you only use this where strictly necessary. We have very limited resources and are not able to provide general project updates.
On behalf of the Derril Water Board, thank you for your patience and understanding during this changeover. Hopefully in a few months from now this will all be a distant memory!
Thank you,
Ben

This confirms what I had thought.

Derril Water investment has already been allocated by the sounds of it, so seems to be safe and away from Ripple.

Whitelaw Brae on the other hand has never been started and the funds will probably get absorbed in the administration process.

Chargebacks come direct from the accounts of the person or company.

Section 75 comes from the bank or card provider you purchased said item with.

I wanted out before they had a chance to get away with the money I had invested. I have no interest in consumer groups waiting for answers. Seen this before and it never ends well. I was heavily invested in the tech of in-wheel motors at Lordstown motors. The board got paid and walked away with the investors money without repurcussion.
