Thanks from me too, Nowty. I was travelling so couldn't "attend," but was hoping to get most of the details when they publish a summary
A
2.0 kW/4.62 MWh pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWh Givenergy batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,
Most travel by bike, walking or bus/train. Veg, fruit - and Bees!

Thanks Nowty, I registered but didn't receive a link so much appreciate your post. I understand a recording of the meeting is to be made available so hoping it won't be too long before we can catch up fully. :xx:

Thanks for this summary. . . . I registered to attend the session, but simply forgot, despite multiple reminders. :whako:

I thought the BegbiesTraynor Administrator's Interim Report was worth a skim, but not mentioned here so far.

Latest email from the KH Coop has made things a bit easier in filing a tax return or not even needing to. :xx:

Tax Matters
Our original plan was to provide those who would need it with a calculation to work out the percentage of savings income received in the 2024/25 tax year which would count as interest and be taxable.

Given that we do not yet know if the Coop was operating at a profit or a loss last year, the board has decided to designate 100% of the savings you received in 2024/25 as a repayment of capital. We hope this simplifies matters, as it means that none of the 'Ripple savings' you received via your energy bills last year counts as interest which could be liable to income tax. Therefore members do not need to declare their savings from Kirk Hill in this year's tax return.

Note: Graig Fatha may take a different approach so if you are a member of both projects you will need to wait for confirmation from the Graig Fatha board.
19.6kW PV > 114MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 34MWh generated
