Trying to work out how to post images from my phone.
Well it definitely exists.
Unfortunately the posh hotel was fully booked but found a local pub and ordered steaks.

It should speed up between 15.00 to 16.00 hrs if you are still there.

Apparently I'm sad, so SHMBO keeps reminding me.
I have been working up in Bonny Scotland just south of Glasgow. Finished work at midday so I thought I'll go and try and find Kirk Hill.
Going by the shape of some of the trees I think it will be a good spot.
Going by the lane I'm not sure how they are going to get the turbines up there.

It is common for developers to pay for upgrades to the roads. Sometimes because they have to for access (replacing bridges, widening corners etc) and sometimes as a concession / benefit for the local community (or usually both)

Back home now after over 300 miles and 2 x 10 min charging stops.
How I thought WT1 would look by me editing google street view (previously posted and Joeboys black marker comment).
What it actually looks like, almost got it right.
From the gate on the road up the hill.
What I got wrong is that there is no footpath up the hill through the farm like I saw on the ordinance survey map. We found the road up but it comes to locked gates and fences. We could have gone the long way around but WHMBO got a blister on her back heal so had to abort the longer walk.
Managed to get the TM3 with the turbine in the background.
And a nice pub steak Sunday lunch, couldn't fault it.

And WT1 was spinning and generating about 75kW at the time.

I meant for you to jump the fence and write Nowty on the access door in black marker
Looks like a great day out, nice one!
