Should be running at high output 24/7 for at least 3 days.
If it does it will make a nice change from its output being about a quarter of the daily projections...

I've been looking more at the weather synoptic charts than the ripple fantasy projections and I'm saying high output, say 75%+, rather than 100%. Its probably the first high continuous output there has been since they changed the power factor settings so fingers crossed its not going to shutdown.

In a first (since I started keeping the projected figures a fortnight ago, possibly "ever") I got more yesterday than the prediction. 4.6kWhr vs 3.4 predicted.
Don't know whether the predictions have been massaged, or if the tweaks have done it. A better place to be than permanent disappointment anyway...
2.0 kW/4.62 MWh pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWh batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,

I stopped looking weeks ago and just note the previous days take with my morning cuppa. Good to think that the prediction model is refining with the data building. Very close to our 1st 0.5MWh :D

Does anyone know the date to which Ripple measured the KWhs to for the credit on the Octopus bill?
My credit does not tally with cumulative generation to any particular end of day total multiplied by 9.5p.
Or are the reported generation figures the 'transmitted' figures without correction for when comms are down?

To yesterday, I reckon production has averaged 4.95 kWhs per day per 1,000kW of ownership. The average annual prediction of generation is 7.32 kWhs per day per 1,000kW. Still some room for improvement in performance. Pity that there are no monthly predictions like there are with PVGIS.

I wonder what the actual dates are for the savings as going off the first 30 days of actuals I worked it out to be £47. But I forgot about the friends and family referrals, so that was a nice surprise.

With my gas coming over to Octopus in a week with some more credit coming with it, I have set my Direct Debit to the minimum of £1.
When WT2 starts that £1 a month will be far too much.

I have changed my direct debit to the exact amount of the monthly bill, obviously less the Ripple credit going forward.

With a variable amount of EV charging each month, I am happy to pay it off in full each month instead of building up either a credit or a debt.

It just takes a phone call to Octopus to make the change to exact direct debit.
