Lovely visit, and nice to be a guest of @Adokforme and his lovely wife. Sadly the day was spoiled slightly on leaving when I handed control of the Tesla over to my host, and as we pulled out, with me in the passenger seat, I saw a rather obnoxious Tesla plate. So bad in fact, that I decided to take a picture, including Ripple's software engineer (managing car parking today) sharing his thoughts about the car:

Shocking, positively shocking. ;)

PS - WT1 is a big bad boy close up and it was cranking.

Looking forward to seeing the photos on our return. Quite surprised that even in a low month like July for wind generation we are seeing meaningful daily takes on most days. Bodes well for future. I predict Sept as the month we see a serious uptick in generation? Obviously I should look up annual wind data for the area but just for the craick? :D
July looks like 250kWh generation so far. That'll do considering I expected very little actual cut in this month.

I am still keeping an eye on Kirkhill wind speeds and they are continuing to outstrip Graig Fatha most of the time. 8-)

Read yesterday that the cut in speed on GF is around 2.5 m/s, converted that's 5.6mph. Sounds about right?

Just mentioning it to increase the group knowledge and frame of reference in these still times.

Figures are up for July, a mere 173kWh for us here at Casa De..

We had a very EV busy July and bought 259kWh from the grid to power those EV miles. As a happy co-incidence we made £16.64 from WT1 and the power for those EV miles cost £14.24. I'll just have to pay the standing charge myself!

This is exactly how I imagined it would work, GF powering EV, Kirkhill will do the power into VB for us. :ugeek:

My July gen figure went up from 173kWh at 08.00 to 202kWh at 14.00, that'll do! :D

15.5mph winds on site and consistent and the generation has simply fallen off a cliff in the last two hours. That is not good. :x

I was expecting today to be absolutely banging, current wind looks excellent, should be around 3/4 power.
Of course the maintenance team were down there yesterday, maybe they are still there.
