Just for clarity:
Chargeback is from either a direct debit or charge card and comes directly from the accounts of the accused. They can reverse this if your evidence is not strong enough.
I would think the account still needs to be open.
Chargeback under normal circumstances has a 60 day window to be opened from point of issue arising however can be extended where delivery is expected to be outside of this window.
Section 75 comes from the credit card provider and is considered a nuclear option. It has a longer timeframe allowed. The amount needs to be between £100 and £30,000. If you pay £101.01 for an item of £29,999.99 you are covered for the entirety by the card.
This is actually why car dealers do not like accepting credit cards.
I don't know if chargeback becomes an issue if the accounts of Ripple dry up with the flurry of chargebacks draining the accounts.

Re: Ripple energy "strike off"
I was wondering that because the payment account might be in a different name from the member and the "Ripple Coop 4 Ltd" may not be able to access data from Ripple Energy Ltd anymore.Fueltheburn wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 12:30 pm

No ones put any new data in so its simply defaulted to the "Estimated average annual savings rate's" as shown on your Ripple account portfolio. There is even an estimated rate for DW and WB.
