UK has just been involved in getting the huge French - Australian submarine contract cancelled, and has also just been talking about chucking China out of a nuclear power station contract... Would you do big business with such an untrustworthy partner?

Where are with the CfD contracts for wind. With the high prices for leccy the wind farms must be paying the gov etc huge amounts and at these prices new RE does not require CfD at all. I am not sure that the CfD system and merit order bidding are not inflating leccy prices at the moment and gas prices getting the blame?

Speaking of energy numbers, has anyone been able to contact Andrew and tell him about Camelot? He's so well informed, and could probably give us lots of info on the upcoming CfD auction and RE expansion in general.

Has it really been that dull that there is no solar generation ? not even a point 1 ???
Even my paltry 2+ kw has managed 1 kwh the last few days .
