A good starting point is read message 2 of the thread, but I also did a review of that explanation more recently last month annotated with the benefit of hindsight, linked below.

About £5000 sounds right.

Ref “ you are paid via a monthly rebate on your energy bill directly proportional to the actual performance of the wind turbine. But from what I gather no evidence seems to be requested if you buy up to 6999kWh’s worth which is about £4,536. “

I am with Good Energy. Do I have to change to Octopus.

Your stuck with Octopus Energy for at least 1 year after it goes operational and maybe forever if no other Energy company wants to participate in the scheme.

I am also trying to not import any Lecky. Will that be a problem.

NO
The new supplier can also be Eon or SO Energy and you dont need to change until nearer the time the project you buy into goes live. Others may join in time.

I have got Fit payments for wind and P.V. with Good Energy.

Can I just change my electricity supply to Octopus. With Good Energy keeping the fit system.

Normally, my FITs are still with British Gas.
In certain circumstances a FIT provider can insist you move the FITs but they rarely do.

Ah, the limited... who need your special guidance and couldn't understand my simple 1st post?..or is it hubris in this case?

Ach well, no matter, strange though and tbh and clear. Unexpected, mildly insulting and just a little bit shit after all this time...

I'll focus instead on the multiples who have found and benefited from my thread. :D
