What an absolutely diabolical course of action for somebody to take, How short sighted can some people get!

In the nearby Town of Ipswich main streets were closed off on three Sundays to allow huge transformer parts to make their way to a site some twenty five miles away. It travelled at 5 mph, thankfully without any similar such incident.

A taste of things to come from site this morning. Plenty time now to wait for the gaps in weather! Great to think they are on seven of eight.

I never understand how people find the view of wind turbines as a blight on the country side? I grew up in Yorkshire so I am very familiar with the scars of coal tips and the sight of huge coal fire power stations and their steaming cooling towers visible for tens of miles in every direction, add to that my work with the nuclear fleet power stations and Sellafield and its no surprise that I find wind turbines to be a refreshing alternative energy producing vision in the landscape. Standing there braced against the elemental wind and rain churning out electrons with epic stoicism, a far better alternative to my early energy industry exposure.

Thanks for that Maxi, I totally agree doesn't it just put all the remaining energy generating means into perspective and show up what an absolute whitewash the present dictatorship have made in their banning of them. And still they refuse to clear the way forward even if they do claim there isn't actually a ban in place. Coincidentally, banning of onshore wind turbines was featured on Channel 4's Greta Climate Fight last night, well worth a watch if anyone hasn't seen it yet!

Up to last night GF for Nov is running marginally above baseline at a CF of circa 43%. :)

Its going to have a well earned rest over the weekend and probably finish only slightly under baseline going off the forecasts. :praise:

Still its going to be the second highest payout month ever for most members.

Its cold but a few useable weather window days for finishing off those two remaining KH wind turbines before the snow comes. :winter:

Fingers crossed, I bet they have been weather watching and planning for this "window", rather amazingly we seem to have blue skies here in North West Wales too, the first time in a week, so I will be propping up the temporary panel at sunrise to get some amps :)

Hope the sun is out for everyone today, only 23 days to the winter solstice and then it all starts to improve again :D
