Hopefully cracking on in this dip in wind state. Temps are up so should be a slightly more benign worksite.

This is not a problem! I'll be down that way next few months. My cousin has a weekend place in West Kilbride. Quite close to KH I think.

Dec update, a bit of rehash in it of the energisation timeline but looking good for T8 finishing soon. A fresh insight into the cabling works surrounding the job especially the railway line pull. Complicated.

We're doing well just now (with all the other windmillls:)
Image
looks like wind has done the heavy lifting all day...

Image
as well as yesterday (admittedly both at a weekend):

Image
Long may it last.
2.0 kW/4.62 MWhr pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWhr batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWhr pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,
Most travel by bike, walking or bus/train. Veg, fruit - and Bees!

And into Monday, 99.5% cf since midnight. :D
Interested to see if reality beats the predicted trend. At least for a while.
